Enlightenment
First song I ever completed fully.I wrote this song in 2012 to be played at my senior recital after giving up on the Chopin inspired song idea. This one was pretty straight forward. I wrote it largely in the stairwell of the Hitt Street Parking garage and outside the DQ around Highridge.
I was pretty happy at the time as I was able to finish it relatively quickly. Looking back, the lyrics are pretty amateurish and cliche. And it all sounds too Dave Matthews-y. But whatever.
